LINCOLN (Heartland Newsfeed) -- The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a new wind chill advisory for all of East Central Illinois except Ford and Iroquois counties. It starts at 8 p.m. Wednesday and goes until 12 p.m. Thursday. Wind chill readings could reach -25, leading to an increased risk for frostbite and hypothermia. So you should wear plenty of warm clothing while outside.
RAYMOND (Heartland Newsfeed) -- The Raymond Village Board discussed computer replacement, water and animal control billing and some financial matters in their final session of 2018 on Monday, Dec. 18. The board sought clarification on the water billing policy for residents who have left the village for the winter. Jason Barickman (R-Bloomington) recently issued a statement supporting the legalization of marijuana, drawing criticism from members of his own party.
