Nokomis Police Department citations and arrests from December 11, 2017 to February 18, 2018

NOKOMIS (Heartland Newsfeed) — The following citations and warrants were completed by the Nokomis Police Department between December 11, 2017 and January 10, 2018 and between January 22 and February 18, 2018, with no reports made available for January 11 to January 21, 2018:
  • Victor (Chain) C. Pickel, 41, of Nokomis was cited for unlawful use of a weapon at the intersection of N. Spruce and Hamilton streets on December 12. Pickel was also cited for being a sex offender in a prohibited zone.
  • An offense by a minor was cited between December 12 and December 13. It was redacted from the record.
  • Eugene E. Anderson, 49, of Sparta was cited for being a sex offender in a prohibited zone at 436 S. Maple St. on December 13. Anderson would later be cited and arrested on December 29 at Nokomis Police Department for failure to register as a sex offender.
  • Jasun J. Robertson, 20, of Chicago was cited for unauthorized possession of prescription drugs at Bob’s Pharmacy, 116 W. State St. on December 14.
  • Tyler N. Williams, 21, of Nokomis was cited for operating a motor vehicle with an expired tag at the intersection of Illinois Route 16 and Western St. on December 20.
  • Two offenses by minors were cited between December 20 and December 21. They were redacted from the record.
  • Joshua D. Flowers, 42, of Fillmore was cited for operating a motor vehicle with an expired tag at the intersection of E. Union St. and Capps Ave. on December 21.
  • Kindra N. Blankenship, 28, of Nokomis was cited for driving on a suspended or revoked license at her residence at 340 Henry St. on December 21. Blankenship was also cited for improper use of vehicle registration, operation of an uninsured motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Danielle E. Patnode, 25, of Pana was arrested on an in-state warrant at 904 E. Union St. on December 22.
  • Brett T. Kersey, 19, of Nokomis was cited and arrested for domestic battery at 119 Wilson Ave. on December 27.
  • David L. Hicks, 44, of Nokomis was cited for disorderly conduct/breach of peace at his residence located at 219 Frederick St. on January 3.
  • Sue E. Foster, 66, of Nokomis was cited for operation of an uninsured motor vehicle at the intersection of E. Hamilton and N. Spruce streets on January 23.
  • David L. Hicks, 44, of Nokomis was cited and arrested for retail theft at Mi Azteca Mexican Restaurant, 100 S. Pine St. on January 23.
  • Emily D. Roach, 31, of Nokomis was cited for driving on a suspended or revoked license and operation of an uninsured motor vehicle on S. Maple St. on January 25. Roach would be arrested on an in-state warrant later in the day.
  • Shelby N. Fleet, 19, of Nokomis was cited for no rear registration light at Kroger, 415 N. Spruce St. on January 27.
  • Gwendalyn M. Pullen, 37, of Mattoon was cited for speeding at the intersection of W. State and Kinney streets on January 28. Pullen was also cited for operation of an uninsured motor vehicle.
  • Tiffney P. Compton, 42, of Witt was cited for speeding at the intersection of N. Spruce and Franklin streets on January 28. Compton was also cited for unlawful cellular phone usage inside a motor vehicle.
  • Gary A. Clouse, 57, of Nokomis was cited and arrested for aggravated battery at 515 S. Cedar St. on January 29.
  • Terri L. Scott, 55, of Nokomis was cited for improper lane usage in a one-way alleyway at the intersection of N. Pine and Hamilton streets on January 30.
  • Alyssa M. Nunes, 36, of Alton was cited for disobeying a stop sign at the intersection of N. Spruce and Hamilton streets on January 30.
  • Marion C. Sparks, 69, of Nokomis was cited for disobeying a stop sign at the intersection of N. Spruce and Hamilton streets on January 30.
  • Dustin M. Oakley, 24, of Nokomis was cited for operation of an uninsured motor vehicle along the 500 block of N. Cedar St. on January 31.
  • Edward E. Becker, 62, of Nokomis was cited for improper walking on a state highway at the intersection of N. Spruce and Franklin streets on February 5.
  • Kristy L. Goodwin, 38, of Decatur was cited and arrested for deceptive practices and fraud at First National Bank of Nokomis, 122 W. State St. on February 8.
  • Nicolas R. Dooley, 40, of Nokomis was arrested on an in-state warrant at the intersection of W. State and S. Pine streets on February 9.
  • Gregory A. Jones, 31, of Nokomis was arrested on an in-state warrant at his residence at 216 Frederick St. on February 10.
  • Sonia L. Davis, 40, of Nokomis was cited for improper lane usage at 121 N. Spruce St. on February 10.
  • James T. Curry, 53, of Decatur was cited for operation of an uninsured motor vehicle at the intersection of W. State St. and Brandon Lane on February 11.
  • Shelby B. Martincic, 31, of Hillsboro was cited for disobeying a stop sign at the intersection of N. Spruce and Hamilton streets on February 15.
  • An offense by a minor was cited between February 15 and February 18. It was redacted from the record.
