Relocated NAHL team suspends operations for 2020-21 season

SHAWNEE, Kan. -- A second team in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) is opting to sit out the 2020-21 season. This comes from a joint press release Wednesday from the NAHL and the Kansas City Scouts. HILLSBORO -- Montgomery County is reporting its eighth COVID-19 death in the same week the first school student tests positive, as cases and positive tests tick upward. NOKOMIS -- According to a report from the Nokomis Memorial Park District, they have some good news for their pool. However, there's a slight bit of extra work to do until then.
