NOKOMIS -- Land of Lincoln Credit Union -- LLCU -- has given the new Nokomis library additional funds to complete its project. QUINCY -- Jury selection will begin in Adams County Court Monday in the murder trial of Timothy W. Bliefnick. Bliefnick, 39, is facing charges of two counts first-degree murder and one count of home invasion. The charges stem from a February shooting death of his wife Rebecca Bliefnick. BLOOMINGTON -- A Bloomington man is facing pending charges relating to charges on child pornography. 51-year-old Dennis L. Covington is facing charges of 40 counts of child pornography. All but nine of those charges are Class 2 felonies, while the remaining nine have a Class 3 felony designation. The charges stem from alleged offenses occurring in February and March of 2020.
