Blues assign four to Springfield

ST. LOUIS — The St. Louis Blues front office is moving four players to its AHL affiliate, according to a statement Friday by General Manager Alexander Steen.

The players will report to AHL affiliate Springfield Thunderbirds as soon as possible. They include forwards Aleksanteri Kaskimaki, Dylan Peterson, and Otto Stenberg, as well as defenseman Adam Jiricek. 

The Blues concludes its 2026-27 preseason schedule Saturday night against the Chicago Blackhawks. The game will be broadcast on Matrix Midwest (Spectrum Ch. 186, DISH Ch. 31, Over-the-Air Ch. 32.2, 32.3) and available to stream for free on both stlouisblues.com and the Blues app. The game will also air on NHL Network for fans outside of the Blues broadcast territory. 

Fans can visit the “Where to Watch” page on the team’s website to find out if their zip code is included in the broadcast territory.
