Barbara Knox, 83, of Farmington passed on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at NHC Rehabilitation Center in Desloge. She was born March 19, 1940, in Farmington to the late Harry and Roberta (Pinkston) Henderson.

Barbara was a member of First Baptist Church in Farmington. She enjoyed sewing and being a cook at several area schools. She loved to be on her mower cutting grass when she could.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Leeman “Dink” Knox and two brothers, Willard Henderson, and Charles Henderson.

Barbara is survived by her sons, Richard Knox, and Randy Knox (Kay); grandchildren, Christina Knox (Doug Thurston), Randy Knox Jr., Kaitlin Willcutt (Dan), Kourtney Breakfield (Anthony); six great-grandchildren; brothers, Darrell Henderson (Rickie Wilson), and Robert Henderson (Faye); sisters, Janet Huber (Robert), Doris Skaggs (Keith), Linda Counts, and Mary Ellen Hurst along with several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 18, 2023, from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington with Chaplain Bart Goetz officiating. Interment will follow at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery in Farmington.
