Extension to present Montgomery County crop yield survey results

HILLSBORO — The University of Illinois Extension will be presenting the yield results of the area corn crop on Thursday, August 26, at noon at the Montgomery County Extension Office in Hillsboro.

Join us for a free lunch while Talon Becker, Extension commercial agriculture educator, presents the results at 12:30 p.m.

To register, please call the Extension office at (217) 532-3941 by August 24.

Local volunteers will sample fields in each of the 19 townships in Montgomery County the week of August 16. If you wish to help gather the data, please contact the Montgomery County Farm Bureau at (217) 532-6171.
