Montgomery 708 Board accepting grant applications

HILLSBORO — The Montgomery County Community Mental Health Board (708 Board) will be accepting grant applications from agencies who are or will be providing services related to mental health, substance use disorders and developmental disabilities to Montgomery County residents.

The application filing period for 2025–2026 funding opened on Thursday, May 1, and closes at midnight on June 30.  Applications timestamped/postmarked after this date will not be considered.

This consideration for funding includes preventative programs and intervention services. The 708 Board uses an online application system. There is an offsite link located on the website for submission of funding requests for the contract year Dec. 1, 2025, to November 30, 2026. Applicants register, complete standard forms for each funding request, and if awarded a contract, submit reports through the system.

Per the posted timeline, this system will be available for registration and application from May 1 at 12:01 a.m. to June 30 at 11:59 p.m., with no consideration of late applications. Allocation decisions will be made before July 1.

Applicants must fall under one of the following categories: mental health, substance dependency, or developmental disabilities.
