Maps for Nokomis spring rummage sales available now

NOKOMIS — Maps are being distributed throughout the Nokomis community on Wednesday and Thursday for this weekend’s Spring City-Wide Rummage Sales.

24 households that signed up (and there are even more beyond that) are featured on the maps printed by Heartland Media Group of Central Illinois & Eastern Missouri, as well as local businesses where savvy rummagers can take advantage of the local food fare.

A long-standing event for a large number of years, the 2025 event marks the first iteration sponsored by Newkomis, formerly known as the Greater Nokomis Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown Nokomis Association, and the City of Nokomis’ Planning Commission. It became an organized event in 2000, sponsored at the time by the Chamber of Commerce, according to preliminary sources.
