PANA — The Pana Eagles Club will host a fundraiser on Saturday, Mar. 29 to benefit this year’s fireworks event.

The event, which will start at 7 p.m., will offer a fresh twist on traditional Bingo, combining the fun of music with the thrill of the game. It will feature six rounds of Bingo along with an optional blackout game for those wishing to take the game to the next level.

Also available will be a cash bar, snacks for purchase, and a chance to win prizes throughout the evening.

Tickets for the event are $20. Group pricing for a group of six is $100 and includes six games and a dobber.

Tickets may be purchased by contacting event organizer Jennifer Mahnke at (217) 556-2297.

The Independence Day fireworks display will be held on July 3 at dusk at the Pana Tri-County Fairgrounds. Previously held at Kitchell Park, the revamped event features free bounce houses, a petting zoo, a putt golf course, and additional features such as food and local vendors.

Both events are overseen by a committee comprising of Mahnke and her husband Matt, Savannah Holthaus, Michael Foster, Cheryl Swenny, Sara Schmitz, Glenda Garrett, Rod Bland, Tim Christer, and Shawna Matthews. The committee meets on the first Monday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Pana Fire Department.

Doors will open for the Bingo event at 6 p.m.
