WARRENTON — The Warrenton Police Department released the following weekly incident report for the dates of June 3-16:

Monday, June 3

Warren County Center, a store employee witnessed a male subject select multiple items and stash them in an aisle. The subject then went to a self checkout where they paid for different items. They then went back to retrieve the stashed items and passed all points of sale. The subject was apprehended and a citation was issued. 

Wednesday, June 5

N State Highway 47, two vehicle accident. Vehicle one was merging on Highway 47 due to the lane ending when it collided into the side of vehicle two. Vehicle one left the scene. 

Saturday, June 8

Warren County Center, a store employee witnessed a male subject in the self checkout skip scanning and fail to scan merchandise. The subject then passed all points of sale and was apprehended and issued a citation. 

Northeast Service Road, a citizen called to report that a family member had caused damage to their vehicle. The individual was identified and taken to the Warren County Jail where they were issued a citation. 

Monday, June 10

Hawthorn Drive, a citizen witnessed a dog at-large and called the animal control officer. The dog and its owner were identified, the owner was located and issued a citation. 

Saturday, June 15

N State Highway 47/Northwest Service Road, two vehicle accident. Vehicle one was traveling westbound on the N Service Road when they realized they missed their exit and made an unexpected U-turn. Vehicle one then struck the rear passenger side of vehicle two. Vehicle one reported no injuries.
