Pana ‘Dumpster Days’ this weekend

PANA — Residents in the city of Pana will be able to bring their junk this weekend through a coordinated program.

The City of Pana, in coordination with Pana Pride, will host “Dumpster Days” Friday and Saturday at the city’s street department yard, located on North Elm Street.

Pana Pride will also residents pick-up service for materials. Those requesting the service had until 2 p.m. Thursday to book it for pickup on Friday. Materials must be left along the street of the residence.

Items can be taken to the city garage both days from 8 a.m. to noon. No trucks larger than a 3/4-ton will be accepted for dropoff services. Liquid paint, tires, and electronics will not be permitted for disposal.

The event is limited to those living in the city of Pana, and driver’s licenses will be checked at the gate.
