We'll See About That with Ron Cey Episode 157 Leave Tom Hardy Alone! Ron Cey
Clarita Catherine Schwent, 82, of O’Fallon, MO, on October 12, 2023, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Clarita was born on September 23, 1941, in Zell, MO, to Edgar and Rose (nee Grieshaber) Jokerst. She was the 2nd oldest, known as Sis, to her twelve brothers and sisters: late Lawrence (Julie), late Norbert (Martha), Joseph (late Jeannie), Paul, late Mary (late Carl) Martin, late Eugene (MaryEllen), Ann (Mike) Stolzer, Edgar, Nicolas (Tina), Joan (late Tom) LaChance, Geralyn (late Paul) Sexauer, and Timothy (Emma).
Clarita met and married the love of her life, the late Delbert Schwent, in Ste. Genevieve, MO. They moved to St. Louis, where Delbert worked for nearly 40 years at McDonnell Douglas/Boeing. They had six children whom they cherished: the late Mary Schwent, Catherine (Themos) Dassopoulos, Stephen (Bridget nee Farley) Schwent, Sandra (Neil) Eisenberger, Melissa (Ted) Howle, and Jennifer (Bruce) Manning. Clarita was the treasured Nana to Ryan, Colin, Gretchen, Elli, Alexandra, Harry, Max, Audrey, Savannah, Bruce, and Ray.
Clarita’s life was devoted to her family. She enjoyed being involved in every aspect of her children’s lives. She loved making every birthday special, and every holiday, especially Christmas, unforgettable. She was fiercely committed to her children. She loved spending yearly vacations with the whole family and enjoyed creating special memories with her grandchildren.
Clarita was always very active in her parishes: Good Shepherd, St. Thomas the Apostle, and Immaculate Conception of Dardenne. She had a deep devotion to the rosary and had a prayer card for every need.
She touched everyone who knew her by her calm presence and goodness. She had a knack for developing instant connections with everyone. With unwavering faith, she radiated light and love. She was truly an “angel on earth”.
