
HILLSBORO — Candidate filing for Montgomery County’s established parties has concluded as of Monday evening for the June 28 primary election.
County offices to be nominated for the Democratic and Republican parties are a two-year term for circuit clerk and four-year terms for sheriff, county clerk, and Regional Superintendent of Schools.
Also at stake are the 14 seats across seven county board districts, with terms to be determined in December.

Registered voters will also nominate the Federal offices of U.S. Senator and 15th District U.S. Representative, statewide constitutional officers, Districts 54 and 55 of the Illinois Senate, Districts 107, 108, and 110 of the Illinois House, and any potential judicial vacancies.
The general election will be held on November 8.
