TAYLORVILLE — The 4-H Youth Leadership Team hosted a community service workshop last month at the Christian County Extension Office.

The 4-H Youth Leadership Team and 4-H members in the county would donate fleece material to make blankets. Youth participants would help make tie blankets. The group did recently donate them to Taylorville Memorial Foundation for distribution to patients throughout the hospital.

“Our youth participants really enjoyed making tie blankets. We hope they provide comfort to patients at Taylorville Memorial Hospital,” stated Christian County Youth Development Program Coordinator Alexis McDowell. “We are looking forward to holding this workshop each year.”
