PANA — Pana Community Hospital welcomes Dr. David Tapscott of Springfield Clinic to its orthopedic surgeon lineup.
Dr. Tapscott is seeing patients in Suite 103 of the hospital’s specialty clinic. Appointments are available every Friday with the exception of the third Friday of the month.
His specialties include general orthopedics, shoulder surgery, arthroplasty, and fracture care.
“Dr. Tapscott is an excellent addition to our surgical and specialty clinic physician staff,” states PCH president and CEO Trina Casner. “PCH strives to bring the best services to our local communities so patients do not have to travel out of town for surgery.”
Dr. Tapscott completed his fellowship at Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence, R.I. Additionally, he had his residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield. He earned his medical degree at the University of Missouri School of Medicine.
“Pana Community Hospital offers state-of-the-art facilities that are ideal for patients needing orthopedic care and surgery,” stated Tapscott. “I knew I wanted to work with the PCH team when I joined Springfield Clinic. I am excited to be seeing patients here.”
When Dr. Tapscott is not working, he enjoys playing basketball, hunting, fishing, and hiking.
