Report: Uber selects Expedia CEO Dara Khosrowshahi as new chief executive
SAN FRANCISCO (Heartland Newsfeed) -- Uber has selected Expedia Inc. chief executive officer Dara Khosrowshahi as the company's new CEO, according to a report released Sunday night by Recode. Earlier in the day, General Electric chairman Jeff Inmelt dropped out of the running for the position and Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co.
