SPRINGFIELD (Capitol News Illinois) -- Data released Wednesday by the U.S. Department of Agriculture shows Illinois’ payment error rate for food assistance continues to grow with federal penalties set to take effect in about a year. USDA forecasts increase in soybean acres

The U.S. Department of Agriculture predicts that U.S. farmers will plant more soybean acres this crop year with less earmarked for corn and wheat.
