Pekin Pride returning next month
PEKIN -- Rural Equality Project will bring Pekin Pride back to Mineral Springs Park on Saturday, Aug. 22, with a full day of music, entertainment, vendors and family-friendly activities at the Steven D. Skinner Bandstand. The event runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and marks the second time in three years that Pride festivities have been held in Pekin.
