Blues sign Ratcliffe to pro tryout

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues president and general manager Doug Armstrong announced Thursday a new signing. The team has signed forward Isaac Ratcliffe, according to the news release. However, the signing is only for a professional tryout. Ratcliffe, 24, split last season between the AHL’s Lehigh Valley Phantoms and Milwaukee Admirals. NHL releases exhibition schedule for Stanley Cup Qualifiers

TORONTO/EDMONTON (Midwest Sports Network) -- The National Hockey League is making their final preparations leading up the return of hockey action to end the 2019-20 season. The teams will play 12 games over three days in hub cities. All Eastern Conference games will be played at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto; all Western Conference games will be played at Rogers Place in Edmonton. PHILADELPHIA (UPI) -- Comcast Spectacor announced Monday that it with build a $50 million gaming and entertainment arena in the same complex where the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies play. Ducks acquire Del Zotto in trade with Canucks

ANAHEIM, Calif. (UPI) -- The Anaheim Ducks acquired defenseman Michael Del Zotto in a trade with the Vancouver Canucks late Wednesday night, the teams announced. The Canucks received defenseman Luke Schenn and a 2020 seventh-round pick in the deal. The 28-year-old Del Zotto has 215 points (54 goals, 161 assists) in his career.
