DoD secretary allows Navy grad Kinley to play in NFL

WASHINGTON (UPI) -- Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin and the Naval Academy will allow rookie cornerback Cameron Kinley to pursue a career in the NFL. NFL considers helmet facemasks with surgical, N95 material

NEW YORK (UPI) -- The NFL is testing prototypes for helmet facemasks, which could include N95 or surgical material, prior to the 2020 season as a way to defend against the coronavirus pandemic. Redskins’ Cousins will file grievance if franchise tagged

WASHINGTON (UPI) -- Quarterback Kirk Cousins will file a grievance against the Washington Redskins if the team officially places a franchise tag on him, the Washington Post reported Sunday. Beginning Tuesday, teams have through March 6 to designate the players they want to franchise or transition tag. The Redskins have tagged Cousins the past two seasons.
