Most expensive British car ever sold goes for $22.5 million

(Heartland Newsfeed/UPI) -- During an auction at Monterey Car Week in California this past weekend, the most expensive British car ever sold exchanged hands for the sum of $22.5 million. According to a report from the British newspaper The Telegraph, the 1956 teal and white Aston Martin DBR1 was sold to an unnamed buyer who called into the auction to place bids. Lockheed Martin receives $24.1 million F-35 systems contract

WASHINGTON (UPI) -- Lockheed Martin has received a $24.1 million modification to an existing contract for F-35 Lightning II logistics services for U.S. and foreign military sales customers, the Department of Defense announced on Friday. The contract will apply toward the standing up of depots and systems for the aircraft's canopy and avionics. Lockheed Martin receives $22.2 million Trident II contract

WASHINGTON (UPI) -- Lockheed Martin Space Systems has received a $22.2 million contract for material, labor and support services for the U.S. Navy's Trident II D5 submarine-launched ballistic missile production. Martin Shkreli found guilty of security fraud

NEW YORK CITY (UPI) -- A jury on Friday found Martin Shkreli, the pharmaceutical executive who came under scrutiny for hiking the cost of a drug by 5,000%, guilty on three counts related to securities fraud.
