NOKOMIS -- The Montgomery County CEO program will have a heavy presence from the Nokomis school district next school year. In a post on the CEO website last week, six of the ten students for the 2022-23 group are from Nokomis High School. They include Natalie Engelman, Carley King, Zaylon Sisk, Matthew Ulrici, Mason Morris, and Elijah Aumann. Montgomery County EMA held volunteer search and rescue training

RAYMOND (Heartland Newsfeed) -- The Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency (EMA), in coordination with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Department and the Illinois Search and Rescue Council, sponsored a three-hour ground search and rescue training seminar Thursday evening, October 12 in the auditorium of Lincolnwood High School in Raymond. 33 first responders from communities throughout the county participated in the training, according to county EMA coordinator Greg Nimmo.
