Five die, 1 survives small plane crash in Louisiana

LAFAYETTE, La. (UPI) -- One person survived a small passenger plane crash in Lafayette on Saturday morning while trying to make an emergency landing, killing five people and injuring three others on the ground. The passengers were planning to watch Louisiana State play Oklahoma in the Peach Bowl game Saturday in Atlanta, WAFB-TV reported. Louisiana, New Orleans Saints nearing long term deal while subsidizing stadium renovations

BATON ROUGE, La. (The Center Square) -- Louisiana officials are close to finalizing a deal with the New Orleans Saints that would keep the team in place for another 30 years, Gov.
