Investigation underway after St. Elmo shooting
ST. ELMO -- An investigation is underway by the Illinois State Police following an incident Saturday evening that resulted in a shooting in Fayette County. The Illinois State Police's Division of Criminal Investigations is investigating an incident that occurred in St. Elmo in the 2400 block of County Road 2150. Local law enforcement received a burglary call around 7 p.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of North 1550 Road in Brownstown. The burglary was reported in progress with shots fired. […]
