Ameren Illinois seeks new rate hikes

SPRINGFIELD -- One of the largest utility companies in Illinois, Ameren, is filing plans for electric and gas rate hikes. The Illinois Commerce Commission (ICC) will review a request for a $160.4 million hike in gas rates over a year.
