Technical Support Engineer

RTB Engineer is responsible for providing L3 application support for the micro-segmentation product. We are looking for someone with 5-6+ years of experience, able to function as an independent member of the team handling escalations from L2 support team, diagnose issues and identify root cause.n n n n n nResponsibilitiesn nDiagnose micro-segmentation product escalations from L2 support teams for resolutionn nReport and escalate issues to vendor support (TAM) when necessaryn nEnsure critical KPI, SLA and deliverables are met on a periodic basis for the micro-segmentation application.n nNetwork traffic flow analysisn n n nQualificationsn nTroubleshooting (AIX, Linux, Solaris, Windows – This is a must for all 4 Operating systems for agent troubleshooting)n n+7 years Linux Administration (Ubuntu preferred but not mandatory)n nDocker / Nomad Experiencen nExperience with REST API troubleshootingn nFamiliarity with SDLCn nFamiliarity with Agile scrum methodologiesn nScripting (Bash, Python, Ansible)n nStrong understanding of Firewallsn nPrevious experience with Guardicore or Illumio (Micro-segmentation principals)n nFamiliar with Strace (system calls) and tcpdump (network) troubleshootingn nStrong understanding and troubleshooting of kernel-based issuesn nAbility to communicate high-level and low-level requirements to end users
