SW Test Engineer

Job Descriptionn n Need experience with working on a Telecom projectn n Able to perform functional testing and test design in areas of regression and progression.n Candidate should be well versed with test tools like Quality center, JIRAn Candidate should understand Testing methodologiesn The candidate should be located in Chicago or the surrounding arean Interact with business, clients, and development teams to understand the business needs and IT implementation and translate it into testable requirements in order to finalize the testing scope of the project/enhancementn Work closely with the IT team to make them understand the different issues that are encountered during the testing phase, and their potential impact on Productionn Drive the design and review of test cases, document, and track testing progress, and communicate the report to key stakeholders. Conduct an internal audit and spot checks to ensure that the solution is properly tested and meets client specifications and that deliverables are well-documented. Prepare and prioritize the tasks for all involved teams, and assist them in understanding the scope in order to achieve completion on time
