Bodhi is hiring a Medical Biller to help with our ever-changing healthcare world. The Medical Biller reviews a company’s insurance claims, authorizes treatments and ensures that the organization receives payment for services rendered by providing complete and accurate records to insurance companies. A successful candidate will have at least two years of medical billing experience and an excellent working knowledge of HIPAA regulations. Currently, pay will be based on a % of each claim that is paid to us.

Responsibilities:

* Comply with all corporate, legal and contractual requirements including HIPAA.
n
* Proofread bills to ensure proper formatting and billing of procedures.
n
* Identify any errors in billing.
n
* File medical claims with insurance companies.
n
* Research insurance company’s payment rules.
n
* Research new regulations on medical billing.
n
* Follow up with denied claims as needed
n
* Follow up with clients regarding overdue accounts
n
* Answer client questions regarding billing issues
n
