Most importantly, they will take a consultative, partnership-driven approach in driving the client’s business results forward through data-driven strategy, product recommendation and implementation, and in-depth marketplace knowledge. nn nn n nn nnThis is a new and unique opportunity to help a highly innovative consumer technology client navigate through an ever-changing data landscape through providing thought leadership and creating synergy amongst agency and client teams to ensure best media campaign results possible now and in the future. nn nn n nn nnThe ideal candidate has a minimum of 7 years of directly related experience in data-driven media strategy, and consumer insights with in-depth knowledge of data, platforms and the advertisement technology marketplace. Must haves include a proven track record of team and thought leadership, and managing key stakeholder relationships including executive and c-suite internal and external stakeholders, impeccable communication skills and demonstrated ability to present, lead meetings, and manage client relationships. nn nnThis is part of a fun, innovative team that values career development, creativity, and leveraging individual talents to spearhead best possible results. nn nn n nn nn Role Objectives: nn nGuide and drive use of data and technology to impact media strategies for brands based on business objectives. n n Includes collaboration across to Strategy, Investment, and Analytics to oversee the deployment and activation of marketing technologies n nMulti-year future state visioning of existing solutions n nEvaluate new and current data & technology partners and new approaches for greatest client impact n nPioneer innovative approaches & solutions to address business objectives (via custom solutions) and industry gaps (via agency product development) n nLead a team and leverage talents and abilities to achieve best solutions and results possible n nBuild and maintain relationships amongst internal and external stakeholders n nBuild presentations and deliver to internal partners and clients n nServe as the marketplace representation for Starcom’s Data Practice and its impact on client businesses n nUnderstand how platform/data technologies work and offer the ability to explain technical concepts in ordinary terms (be technically savvy – understand the opportunities and limitations) n nCommunicate opportunities, learnings, and recommendations with authority and credibility n nDeveloping business cases for the client to secure talent in Starcom talent and technology n nn nn nn Minimum Qualifications: nn nBachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, advertising, business, marketing, technology, analytics, or equivalent n n7+ years of professional experience in consulting (strategy or operations), digital and advanced analytics, marketing technology, digital strategy, and buying n nStrong attention to detail and understanding sense of urgency n nProven track record in establishing priorities n nStrong entrepreneurial mind-set with the drive to dig in, problem solve, and evolve solutions; comfortable providing clarity in times of ambiguity n nAbility to cultivate relationships with technology n nExcellent written and verbal communication skills n nExcellent relationship building and decision making skills with the ability to think creatively n nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suiten
