Eight killed in shooting at Nigerian church

OZUBULU, Nigeria (UPI) -- At least 11 people died in a shooting Sunday at a church in southern Nigeria apparently by a lone gunman, police said. CANTON, Miss. (UPI) -- Nissan factory workers in Mississippi this week overwhelmingly struck down a bid to join the United Auto Workers union, capping a years-long campaign that drew national attention. NEW YORK CITY (UPI) -- A jury on Friday found Martin Shkreli, the pharmaceutical executive who came under scrutiny for hiking the cost of a drug by 5,000%, guilty on three counts related to securities fraud. (UPI) -- Charter Communications Inc. ended speculation it would acquire Sprint Corp., announcing it would not seek a merger between media companies. Discovery to buy Scripps in deal valued at $14.6 billion
