Up to 160 Applebee’s, IHOP restaurants to close

GLENDALE, Calif. (UPI) -- The parent company of Applebee's and IHOP announced Thursday it intends to close up to 160 locations of the restaurants amid slumping sales. WASHINGTON (UPI) -- Huntington Ingalls has received a $36.4 million contract for maintenance and modernization work on the USS Dwight D. (UPI) -- Nissan factory workers in Mississippi this week overwhelmingly struck down a bid to join the United Auto Workers union, capping a years-long campaign that drew national attention.
