Up to 160 Applebee’s, IHOP restaurants to close

GLENDALE, Calif. (UPI) -- The parent company of Applebee's and IHOP announced Thursday it intends to close up to 160 locations of the restaurants amid slumping sales. Huntington Ingalls awarded $36.4 million contract for work on USS Dwight D. Eisenhower

WASHINGTON (UPI) -- Huntington Ingalls has received a $36.4 million contract for maintenance and modernization work on the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower aircraft carrier, the Department of Defense announced on Friday. The contract is part of the fiscal 2017 incremental availability program at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. (UPI) -- Nissan factory workers in Mississippi this week overwhelmingly struck down a bid to join the United Auto Workers union, capping a years-long campaign that drew national attention.
