CHARLESTON -- Recent revelations are emerging in an ongoing investigation of the Eastern Illinois University men's swim team. On Tuesday, the University determined that the Panther men's swim team was in violation of its hazing policy. Eastern Illinois suspends men’s swimming season

Season pause related to hazing investigation

CHARLESTON -- Eastern Illinois University is suspending all competition for the men's swimming team in the interim while an investigation is underway on hazing allegations. EIU Athletics is investigating "credible" hazing reports presented to head coach Johnathan Jordan. Fergusson receives swimming and diving coaching promotion

CARBONDALE -- Johno Fergusson is receiving a promotion to associate head coach of the SIU Salukis swimming and diving team. Head coach Geoff Hanson made the announcement Saturday in a press release. Illinois State releases schedule for 2021 swimming and diving

NORMAL, Ill. – Illinois State Redbird Athletics is preparing for their 2021 swimming/diving season. In an Oct. 26 press release, coach Caitlin Hamilton announced the schedule was finalized. "It is a sense of relief to finally have our meet schedule for the upcoming season," Hamilton shares.
