Cougars golfers finish second at UT Martin

JACKSON, Tenn. – With two golfers in the top 10, SIUE Cougars golf finished as the runners-up at UT Martin's Grover Page Classic completed Tuesday at the Jackson Country Club. The Cougars fired a final-round score of 288 and finished at 849 (-15) for the tournament. SIUE finished tied with Missouri State, both finishing eight strokes back of team champion, host UT Martin. BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – The SIUE Cougars golf team has been tabbed for a third-place finish in a vote by the Ohio Valley Conference head coaches Tuesday. The Cougars earned 49 points and were picked behind predicted league champions Little Rock and Tennessee Tech.
