NOKOMIS -- The Nokomis City Council met in its regular session on Monday, July 11. Among the issues on deck are ongoing complaints relating to the declining quality of its water. STAUNTON -- The first reading of an ordinance to update the city's zoning map took place during the Staunton City Council's meeting on Monday night, Mar. 14. NOKOMIS -- The Nokomis City Council met in a special session on Thursday, Jan. 27 with the intent of hiring a new police chief. All commissioners were present with the exception of Michael Glenn.
