Expect the remainder of your Independence Day holiday and most of this week to be hot and unbearable in the bi-state region. The National Weather Service in St. Louis has activated a Heat Advisory Sunday afternoon. MEXICO -- Residents of Mexico will likely experience some temporary interruptions of water service, discolored water, and/or lower water pressure. Missouri American Water is working on an ongoing water system improvement project, worth $2.4 million, to enhance the water service reliability to Mexico customers. LADDONIA, Mo. -- A Vandalia man died in a two-vehicle accident along U.S. Highway 54, roughly a half-mile east of Audrain County Road 448 near Laddonia. JEFFERSON CITY (The Center Square) – Missourians using digital or virtual currencies would be protected from some taxation under a bill introduced in the legislature.
