WITT -- Witt Volunteer Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire on Friday, July 19 on East Mitchell Street. HILLSBORO -- Hillsboro Health will host a community blood drive with ImpactLife, the provider of blood components for local hospitals. NOKOMIS -- The Board of Education of Nokomis CUSD #22 met in regular session on Tuesday, July 16. Nokomis Superintendent Dr. Scott Doerr presented the monthly business report, in which he reported that the state has paid all mandated categorical payments except one payment of $1,240.96 for driver's education.
