DECATUR -- A vacant house suffered severe damage as a result of an early morning fire Sunday in Decatur. The Decatur Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire at 1628 E. At 1:06 p.m. Monday, the National Weather Service announced an extension to the current Heat Advisory, which was initially to expire at 9 p.m. Tuesday.
