PHILADELPHIA (UPI) -- James Harden and the Philadelphia 76ers agreed to a two-year, $68.6 million contract extension. Sources told ESPN, the Philadelphia Inquirer, and Yahoo Sports about the pact late Thursday. The deal includes a player option for the 2023-24 season and guarantees Harden $33 million in 2022-23. The company publicly announced that it had terminated the employment of CFO Michael Recupero, with Chief Accounting Officer Diana Saadeh-Jajeh stepping into the role.
