Blues make roster moves

ST. LOUIS — The St. Louis Blues have made some roster moves Monday, including two players going on injured reserve.

On Monday morning, the front office would announce that defensemen Logan Mailloux and Tyler Tucker were placed on injured reserve.

Mailloux is currently dealing with an injury to his right hand. He underwent a successful surgery to his hand last Sunday. His situation, according to General Manager Alexander Steen, will be re-evaluated in eight weeks’ time. The operation was performed by team physicians at Washington University Orthopedics.

Mailloux, 23, would appear in 67 regular-season games for the Blues last season. He would post 13 points (5 G, 8 A) and 48 penalty minutes. The Belle River, Ontario native was a first-round selection by the Montreal Canadiens in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft. He joined the Blues organization following a trade on July 1, 2025.

Tucker is currently dealing with a lower-body injury, with his situation being evaluated on a week-to-week basis.

Tucker, 26, would appear in 67 regular-season games last season for the Blues. He would log 17 points (3 G, 14 A) and 81 penalty minutes. The Thunder Bay, Ontario native has made 159 career regular-season games, totaling 30 points (8 G, 22 A) and 209 penalty minutes.

Two assigned to Springfield

Later in the day, the Blues made two assignments of players to the team’s AHL affiliate, Springfield Thunderbirds. Goaltender Georgii Romanov and defenseman Calle Rosen are the two assignments to the Thunderbirds.

Romanov, 26, spent last season with the Thunderbirds, posting a 9-12-4 record along with a 3.29 goals-against average, an .896 save percentage, and one shutout in 28 regular-season games. He also helped the Thunderbirds reach the Atlantic Division Final while compiling a 7-4-0 record along with a 1.84 goals-against average, a .939 save percentage, and two shutouts in 11 postseason appearances.

The Yekaterinburg, Russia native has played in 78 career AHL regular-season games, logging a 29-27-17 record, a 3.18 goals-against average, and a .902 save percentage. 

Rosen, 32, spent most of last season with the Thunderbirds, posting 31 points (8 G, 23 A) in 61 regular-season games. He also appeared in nine games with the Hershey Bears, recording seven points (1 G, 6 A). Rosen helped the Thunderbirds reach the Atlantic Division Final after logging seven points (3 G, 4 A) in 12 postseason games.

The Vaxjo, Sweden native has appeared in 421 career AHL regular-season games, totaling 229 points (44 goals, 185 assists).
