Rhodes to oversee LLCU Effingham South branch

EFFINGHAM — Land of Lincoln Credit Union announced the hire of a new branch manager for its Effingham South branch in a news release Thursday. Taylor Rhodes will be serving as branch manager of the Effingham South branch, located at 2302 S. Banker St.

Rhodes will oversee the branch’s sales and operations, in addition to serving as a loan officer.

Rhodes has been with LLCU for the past two years, serving as a teller and universal banker at the Vandalia branch. She previously worked for FNB Community Bank.

Before working in banking, Rhodes was a music education student-teacher at local colleges and high schools. She credits a lot of her leadership foundations to her experiences as a drum major at Vandalia High School.

“Much of my previous experience is rooted in leadership, teaching, and learning,” states Rhodes. “I am so excited to be a part of bringing those qualities to LLCU.”

“I am looking forward to making a lasting positive impact and helping create a professional, proficient, and trustworthy environment for not only our LLCU employees, but also for our members and surrounding communities,” Rhodes adds.

Rhodes values connecting with others and finding ways to help in her community. In her free time, she enjoys relaxing with a good book or building Lego sets while watching movies.
