Tuesday’s primary in Missouri could have major implications. While Amendment 4 and Amendment 5 dominate the conversation, Missouri voters might not realize that they have choices in elected races.

Are you disgruntled with the incessant bickering and fighting of the inherently corrupt political duopoly? You don’t have to give up and choose not to vote. There are choices to take advantage of.

Missouri is a three-party state, as the Libertarian Party of Missouri seeks to expand its reach to voters.

Party chairman Dustin Coffell is the lone candidate in the Libertarian primary for state auditor.

Libertarian Tom Schmitz is seeking to unseat Democrat Wesley Bell in the 1st Congressional District.

In fact, Libertarians are running in all eight Congressional districts, featuring consistent candidates Andy Maidment and Randy Langkraehr.

Depending on where you live in the Show-Me State, you may have Libertarians running for the Missouri House.

But the unfortunate truth lies that so many races in Tuesday’s primary are too often uncontested. That is evident in the state House races that have only one candidate on the ballot.

A full list of candidates running for statewide and state legislative races in Tuesday’s primary is available here.
