VANDALIA — The Pana Panthers and Nokomis Redskins are among seven teams making the trek to Vandalia this weekend.
The Vandalia Holiday Tournament kicks off Friday with eight teams vying for the title.
The Redskins, which have been a regular participant since 1974, are the second seed in this year’s tournament. They will be in a pool comprising of host Vandalia, Flora, and defending champion Greenville.
The Panthers, a regular participant since 1980, are the fourth seed in the tournament. They are in a pool with top-seeded (Toledo) Cumberland, Shelbyville, and (Macon) Meridian.
Pana is a seven-time champion of the tournament, while Nokomis is seeking its first.
Unless specified otherwise, tournament games will be broadcast via the NFHS Network. It was not determined whether there would be any radio broadcasts.
