CANTON, Mo. — A 2006 Culver-Stockton College graduate is returning to “The Hill” following an appointment to Vice President of Advancement. The appointment was made by college President Dr. Douglas Palmer.
Adam Duesterhaus will assume that position on July 18. Duesterhaus is making the jump from the United Way of Adams County, where he was most recently its Director of Development and Communications.
With a rich background in fundraising and devotion to Culver-Stockton, Duesterhaus is enthusiastic about returning to his alma mater. He is also excited to lead advancement efforts.
“Culver-Stockton has made a difference in my life,” Duesterhaus said in a statement. “It is both an honor and a privilege to help lead this team of professionals and supporters into a new generation.”
Duesterhaus will be responsible for leading all aspects of development, alumni relations, and external financial support necessary for sustaining and advancing Culver-Stockton’s mission.
“I’m excited to have Adam join us because he brings the Wildcat spirit of an alumnus that our students embody,” Dr. Palmer shared. “He is a great addition to our senior leadership team as we move into an exciting year of leading by our mission.”
