LaVon B. Kroenlein, 99, of Moweaqua, died January 21, 2022 in St. Mary’s Hospital, Decatur.
LaVon was born on January 6, 1923 in Moweaqua, the daughter of John B. and Margaret (Still) Robinson.

She married Lawrence C. Burgener in June 1941, and he preceded her in death in 1961. She later married Paul E. Kroenlein in March 1972. He preceded her in death on June 13, 2015.
LaVon was a member of First United Methodist Church of Moweaqua and a former member of Moweaqua OES. She worked as a beautician for many years.
Surviving are her sons Lawrence A. “Larry” (Sandy) Burgener and Michael L. (Diane) Burgener, both of Moweaqua, grandchildren Adam (Astrid) Burgener of Copperas Cove, TX, Kelly (Stephen) Gregory of Wentzville, MO, and Leann (Ramiro) Estrada of Moweaqua, great-grandchildren ShaeLynn, Taryn, Tristen, and Kora, and special nephew Lyle Rodman.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husbands Lawrence Burgener and Paul Kroenlein, one brother, and four sisters.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 27, 2022 in Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Burial will be in Little Flock Cemetery, Moweaqua.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or First United Methodist Church of Moweaqua.
Seitz Funeral Home, Moweaqua has been entrusted with the care and service arrangements.
