Pre-match interruption from AEW star Danhausen
Prior to the match, Danhausen made an interruption via the AEW Jumbotron with a gift of the “Ass Boys theme”. Austin and Colten Gunn ran off to find Danhausen, resulting in a 4-on-2 handicap in favor of the LA Dojo. Since one of them is Billy Gunn (and Anthony Bowens at ringside is injured), Caster was the one taking all of the abuse.In-match action
Uemura got a near fall with a bulldog. Caster had some great fire babyface moments fighting from underneath. Caster would finally make his own comeback and get the tag to Billy Gunn. Knight hit Gunn with a dropkick but would come back with a Famouser on Coughlin. Caster would conclude the match for the pinfall via a top rope elbow on Coughlin. It was a short and sweet match. Perhaps the interruption wasn’t necessary, but it was an enjoyable comedic moment. It would not be surprising if this may end up being a catalyst for The Acclaimed to turn babyface on the heel Gunn Club. Winner: Gunn Club/Caster via pinfall (5:34)For more sports news, follow Jake Leonard on Twitter @JakeLeonardJRN and Heartland Newsfeed @HLNF_Bulletin on Twitter.
