Donna R. (Miller) Roach, 87, of Hillsboro passed away January 16, 2022 at Montgomery Nursing and Rehab, Hillsboro.
She was born in Nokomis on December 23, 1934 to Albert and Rose (Hueschen) Miller.
She was a graduate of Nokomis High School and worked for 42 years at the Hillsboro glass factory. She was a past member of the Hillsboro Moose and VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
She enjoyed entertaining and was well known for playing her organ at many local places including Nursing Homes, the Moose Club, and at her class reunions.
She is survived by two sons Greg Kessler of Hillsboro and Gary (Paula) Roach of Hillsboro, five grandchildren Emma Hughes, Danielle Ulhry, Amanda King, Eric Kessler, and Austin Roach, great-grandchildren Braidyn Ulhry, Izabella Ulhry, Johanna King, KehLahni Clark, Ethan King, Robert Sherman, and Chatham Kessler, and one sister Irma Waddington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands Elmer Kessler and Henry Roach, companion Don Clausen, one son Donald in infancy, and one brother Ivan Miller.
Memorials can be directed to Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Hillsboro.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Hough & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Sands officiating. Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 21, 2022 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Hough & Sons Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro.
