Jerry Ray Ohl, 63, of Assumption, died January 8, 2022 in Pana Community Hospital.
Jerry was born on March 21, 1958 in Hillsboro, the son of Jessie Meral and Bonnie Mildred (Smith) Ohl.
He married Donna Miller on September 5, 1998 in Assumption, and she survives.

Jerry was a member of IBEW Local 146 and retired from Bodine Electric, Decatur. He was an avid L.A. Lakers and St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed playing golf on the Wednesday night men’s golf league.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Ronnie (Jenny) Scribner, Jr. of Decatur and Crystal (Troy) Lindsay of Assumption, grandchildren Brandon (Courtney) Webb, Austin (Emily) Webb, Shelby (Hunter) Mast, and Ashley (Tim) Woods, several great-grandchildren, siblings Robert (Arlene) Ohl of Assumption, Randy Ohl of Assumption, Loretta Ohl of Charleston, and Glenda (Melvin) Rice of S. Carolina, and many loving cousins.
Preceding him in death are his parents.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2022. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 12 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Both instances will be held in Seitz Funeral Home, Assumption.
Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, Assumption.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
