JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two active members of the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) roster will be sticking around the promotion longer due to contract extensions.

AEW head referee Aubrey Edwards revealed the news during a recent broadcast of Into The Danger Zone with Chris Denker. The following quote comes courtesy of POST Wrestling:

“Unless you’re in the discussion about the match, you don’t fully understand all of the things that are being talked about, right? And ultimately if the wrestlers I work with are happy and my bosses are happy, and you know, I got a contract extension this year so clearly I’m doing something good. Let me just drop that in there.”

Edwards is most arguably the promotion’s most popular referee. She is the referee of choice for the majority of Chris Jericho’s major matches.

In addition to referee duties, she co-hosts the AEW Unrestricted podcast with Tony Schiavone. Additionally, she is the product head of the AEW Elite General Manager mobile game.

Scorpio Sky to remain “All Elite” with AEW

Also confirming a contract extension with AEW is Scorpio Sky.

Recently, it was revealed that a five-year extension was signed. The news came courtesy of American Top Team’s Dan Lambert at AEW All Out in Chicago.

In an interview with PWInsider, Sky made it absolutely clear that he had zero interest in leaving anytime soon.

Sky further confirmed that as he put his signature to paper prior to the pay-per-view:

“(Tony Khan is) a very, very smart guy. He’s got a memory like no one I’ve ever seen. I mean, you can have a small two-second conversation with him… Two seconds, who can talk in two seconds… But a small 20-second conversation with him in a loud room that you won’t remember the next day, and he’ll remind you of it a month later. ‘Hey, sir, I didn’t forget about this.’ Like, ‘Oh, holy crap. I did. Sorry.’

“Working for him is great. I love it. He’s always shown faith in me, and it’s something that I’ve really truly appreciated. He saw something in me very, very early on. He still sees it, evident by the contract extension that I just signed so I’m going to be with AEW for a long, long time. A lot of that comes down to Tony Khan and his vision. There’s nothing more I can say about it. Nothing but good things to say about working for a guy like that.”

“I did that right around the time of the Pay-Per-View. I’m happy to be with AEW for at least five more years.”

Sky will be in action Friday night for AEW Rampage, as he and Men of the Year tag partner Ethan Page are in trios action. Junior Dos Santos will join them as they take on the Inner Circle (Jericho, Guevara, and Hager).
