ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Valley Conference is making some schedule updates as a result of a series postponement earlier this week. The women’s basketball series between Illinois State and Valparaiso, which was to occur this week, had to postpone due to issues with COVID-19.
The conference is rescheduling this series to January 14-15 at Redbird Arena in Normal. Tip-off for both games will be at 4 p.m. Central. The games will air on the Redbirds Radio Network, as well as ESPN 3, ESPN+, and The Valley on ESPN.
Conference athletic events will only take place to an extent allowed by local environments. This includes any applicable institutional, local, state, and national guidelines meant to safeguard the health and safety of all who have an involvement.
Unless things change, the games will be taking place with no fan attendance.
More developments on the Illinois State women’s basketball squad will be available on their athletic website and on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram @RedbirdWBB.
